Publishing research
After reading through several different journals, I found one that stood out to me. I chose to submit my paper to the Journal of Studies on Drugs and Alcohol. I chose this because my paper really touches on issues of drug prevention as well as how to handle correct situations with talking to kids about drugs. At first I thougth the journal was only on negativity about drugs. Then, I saw an article that was recently submitted that spoke on the great debate of making marijuana legal. I decided that this would be the perfect journal. I also liked how professional the journal looked as well as how put together everything was. I had to change everythign to APA formatting for submission. After getting help at the writing center, I finished the paper in complete APA and submitted my paper. I can’t wait to hear the results!!
